The Claremore Police Department serves the community by protecting life and property, preventing crime, enforcing laws, and maintaining order for all citizens. Central to our mission are the values that guide our work and decisions, and help us contribute to the quality of life in Claremore.

The Claremore Police Department currently is approved for 39 sworn officers, 13 civilian and three Animal Control employees. Funded by a Department of Justice grant, we currently have one school resource officer assigned to Claremore Public School campuses. We also have one drug-detecting K-9 officer. The police department is community-policing oriented and dedicated to working with the community to make the City of Claremore an even better place to live.
