New! WiFi HotSpots for Checkout!

  1. Check Out a HotSpot

In addition to our 24/7 on-site Library Internet access, Will Rogers Library patrons can now Check Out the Internet with Library HotSpots. A library HotSpot provides free wireless Internet access to library patrons and families who do not have an Internet connection at home.

Please read the FAQ on this page for complete information about Library HotSpots!

  > How do I check out a HotSpot?

  1. Ask for a HotSpot kit from the Library Circulation Desk. Each HotSpot kit will contain the carrying case, HotSpot device, charger, and instructions.
  2. Initially you will need your Will Rogers Library card and a photo ID, and you will be asked to sign the HotSpot Lending Agreement. Patrons under 18 will need a parent/guardian with a library card and photo ID to sign the Lending Agreement with them.
  3. Library staff will review the HotSpot Lending Agreement and policy for you to sign. You will only need to do this once. Once signed, the agreement will be kept on file.
  4. Library staff will go over the HotSpot kit with you to ensure it is in good working condition before checkout.
  5. Check out the HotSpot for 2 weeks, follow the included connection instructions and enjoy your Internet access!

Holds may be placed on HotSpots; however only one family member at a time may be on the Holds list for a HotSpot.

> How do I return a HotSpot?

  1. Return the HotSpot kit to a Library staff member at the Circulation desk. Do not return HotSpots in the book drops!
  2. Library staff will perform a check-in inspection with you immediately upon return.
